1.1.12 Session #1 + W4D1

Feels good to start the new years fresh with everything. Goal is to return to original strength squatting 345 x 5, next goal is 405 x 5. Deadlift goal is 500

Restarted from bill starr to starting strength routine until my squat goes back to somewhere around 300-340

the format is as follows 5 x 265 (reps x weight)

Still not that easy but not extremely hard, protein and rest might be the issue here or just not having squatted in 5 months with no leg activity is probably a result of this

Was at 205 for bench last week but since i upped the volume decided to drop 10lbs. Worked on lats being tight on eccentric portion from stopping the bar swaying, worked out well.

Week 4 Day 1: Novice plyometric workout from Vertical Jump Bible

Format for plyos is a little different since there is usually no weight involved (sets x reps)

1-leg ricochet Jump
3 x 15

Broad Jump
3 x 6

Rim Jump
3 x 8

Drop Jump (25" box approx)
3 x 6
